The Verdict is a quarterly themed journal that contains articles pertaining to plaintiff's attorneys.

Please submit all articles to Verdict Editors listed at the bottom of this page or contact GTLA staff with questions regarding submissions.

Please include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address (if you have one).

Please include a double-spaced hard copy, a photograph, and a brief biography (less than 150 words) along with the file on disk.

The article should be no more than 12 pages long, double-spaced.

The file should be in Word or WordPerfect format (we will accept other formats on a case-by-case basis).

Please italicize all case names.

Please underline all web addresses.

Please use endnotes and not footnotes.

If your word processing program has an auto-format feature, e.g., it automatically indents paragraphs, numbers lists, inserts Roman Numerals for outlining, etc., kindly turn off that feature when writing the article. Although we will accept documents written with the auto-format feature on, its use makes the layout process much more difficult.

For editorial style, we use Texas Law Review's Manual on Usage and Style (Eighth Edition) and Strunk & White's The Elements of Style (Third Edition).

Your photograph and brief biography will appear alongside your article. In addition, the article, photograph, and brief biography may appear in the members-only section of our web site.
